My new solo performance installation The Ballad of Skinny Lattes and Vintage Clothing (which premieres in the summer of 2012) has been awarded a research and development grant by Arts Council England. The Ballad is a noise opera about globalisation and its effect on our high streets… Its’ intent is both humorous and confrontational, as it charts the rise of The Revolutionary Middle Classes as the artistic vanguard of Wall Street and the corporate hedge funds.
Other funding bids are still pending, so more details about the project will follow before the end of February. Expect a crowd funding pitch in your mailbox soon!
